NTHS is the leading organization recognizing outstanding student achievement in career & technical education with affiliations in over 2000 schools and colleges throughout the U.S. and its. NTHS encourages high academic achievement, motivates desire for professional excellence, and helps students achieve success in the workplace.

What do student members receive?
NTHS members receive: the NTHS membership certificate, pin, card, window decal, white tassel, official NTHS diploma seal, and three personal letters of recommendation for employment, college admission, or scholarships. Members have access to the NTHS Online Career Center including: MonsterTRAK online employment service, The OSHA Career Safe Program, and Career Key career planning service.

Staring with NTHS is easy!
Complete the charter application form, have the school principal sign it, then fax it to Robyn Crawford at 828-698-8564. There is no cost to establish a charter. If you would like your charter framed, call for pricing at 828-698-8011.

Establish the criteria you will use at your school for student membership in the Society. For a list of recommended standards, use this link to the NTHS Web Site, www.nths.org/About/Standards.asp.Advising an NTHS chapter is EASYIdentify students who meet your chapters criteria, invite them to an informational meeting, enter their information online, and hold an induction ceremony. HTHS provides an agenda for the meeting and a script for the induction ceremony.
