Gifts of Stock |

Gifts of appreciated stock are also an easy way to support the work of Business Professionals of America.
- There are tax advantages to the stockholder when making a gift of stock to Business Professionals of America.
- Stock transfers are easy transactions to complete and can usually be done by telephone.

Planned Giving
Planned giving instruments exist to enable donors to provide a gift of meaningful support and create a lasting legacy to their charity or organization of choice. There are a wide variety of planned giving options available to donors including:
- Charitable Remainder Annuity Trusts (CRATS),
- Charitable Remainder Uni-trusts (CRUTS)
- gifts of life insurance
- gifts through retirement plans
There are also significant tax benefits that accrue to a donor or their heirs with many of these giving instruments.

Bequests |

This is perhaps the most common and the most convenient way to leave a lasting legacy to your organization of choice.
Bequests are gifts made through your will and are highly specific in nature. For example they may be a percentage of the total estate, a specific dollar amount or some other tangible real or personal property. Bequests to a charity are easily arranged with the simple addition of a codicil to your existing will.

Sponsorships |

Sponsoring the work of Business Professionals of America is a unique opportunity for businesses and individuals. Sponsorship provides support for BPA’s annual operations and programs.
Sponsorships vary in scope from a single competitive event all the way to being a sponsor of the National Leadership Conference. There are many benefits to sponsors of BPA’s programs, conferences, and events. For example, there are market enhancing promotional opportunities:
- on the BPA Web site
- in BPA publications
- on printed marketing materials
- video products
- conference promotional items
- at the annual Expo and Career at our National Leadership Conference.
Sponsorships are also tax deductible contributions.
Sponsorship Types and Levels
BPA offers corporations and recruiters a variety of promotional activities in designated categories of year-round recognition that will provide exposure and visibility to over 51,000 members and 6,000 conference attendees.

Endowments |

Endowments are funds set aside for the permanent use of supporting the work and mission of an organization.
Business Professionals of America maintains three permanent endowments with The Columbus Foundation, America’s seventh largest community foundation. These endowments support general operations, scholarships, and our educational curriculum.
Gifts to the endowments of Business Professionals of America are tax-deductible contributions.
Donors may wish to make a contribution directly to any one or all of these three endowments.
To make a contribution, please make your check payable to The Columbus Foundation and specify which endowment or endowments you wish to support.

In-Kind Giving |

Outright gifts of materials, products, equipment or services are welcomed by Business Professionals of America.
These gifts are helpful to the organization as it carries out its mission and performs day to day operations. These gifts reduce the cost of doing business through the donation of goods or services which can be utilized by the organization.
In-kind gifts to Business Professionals of America are also tax deductible.

Community Partners |

Business Professionals of America needs good partners in the community to assist with the implementation of its mission. Therefore, Business Professionals of America welcomes the support of other non-profit or educational organizations which can provide assistance with or support for the overall work, programs and mission (link to the mission pg under About BPA).
Community Partners receive recognition on our Web site, in our publications, and at our National Leadership Conference. Their support is a valuable tool enabling BPA to enhance the educational opportunities provided to its membership.
